I just learned about this game on paradox and i plan to get it by the end of the week. It just came out yesterday and is available for instant download on gamersgate.com for $9.95 (USD). If anyone has it yet can you tell me if its good or sucks and it would be a mistake to buy it? It looks pretty good except for the troops are no longer represented as people but just squares. However, the game makes up for this with a 1914-1967 timeline and more detail on the map. It is also a standalone game for those who are wondering.

If you want you can make germany win WW1 anyways in Darkest Hour lol
but in the menu screen in darkest hour did you know you can turn off darkest hour and just play regular HOI 2?
Also, you have to download it from the computer right?

Yeah you have to download it. And also, darkest hour is seperate from HoI II, so you cant turn it off. Its stand alone.

thats why I have my own credit card and why I allowed myself to turn 19. That way I can actually tell myself I am not allowed to buy Darkest Hour because I dont have a job yet and its a video game or my next meal.
    =)
