I searched for EU3 Lets plays and found Stalin. At first, I didnt know if i wanted to watch the whole series. But, the last sentence of Episode 2 got me hooked, when Stalin after receiving an event said: "Too much religious freedom? Well I'll be damned!"
I'm not sure but as I remember I was looking for a Empire let's play and I found his ottoman campaign then I watched all of his let's play after that for aboot a mounth or 2
Back when he was sad he had to kill Russians. I think he got densitized to it when he invaded Moscow in EU3 and killed them by the thousands.
Probably from the related videos column, looking up Mass Effect stuff, I don't really remember how I found my way here. Forgot about it for a year or so after that. Suddenly remembered after an hour long staring contest with the ceiling.
I found him randomly on the side bar, I used to watch a lot of RPG let's plays generally morrowind . I think the one I stumbled into was rise of nations, then I started watching everything else, then went to the site, tadaaa.
By trying to browse the real Joesph Stalin on Youtube, until i come across this anonymous fellow called JoesfvStalin and then the happy times emerged.
I wanted to see tropico gameplay before I bought it and that's when found him. Although he finished that game for sometime and was starting on the absolute power version.
I was looked up on youtube "Empire Total War Last Stand" and got the video were Stalin had that awesome last stand against the British as Maratha. At first I thought this guy was kinda weird since I just saw him knock over a Risk board so I didn't watch the full video. Later I saw on Prince of Macedon's video were they played Men of War together, Stalin and Prince. I remembered Stalin so I went and checked his videos. I'm now hooked for life and never watch Prince of Macedon anymore because of him (and Totalbiscuit).
I went looking on YouTube for gameplay videos of Tropico 3, as I wasn't sure it was worth buying (my laptop at the time only just reached the minimum requirements) and found Let's Play Tropico 3. I knew almost immediately it was a cut above most of the rest, or at least it wasn't a fat whiny fourteen year old. Plus the whole Stalin! thing is pretty funny Since then, (once i'd watched most of the past videos) i've sat and watched it grow into something beautiful
well i saw his video on poms page but i didn know who he was. later i was looking for empire total war footage and i found stalins spanish campain. he was at about part 10 then. it took me almost 2 months to relize this was the same guy as was on poms page.
Well, I was watching some Hitler rants on youtube when I came across "Hitler reviews Stalin vs. the Martians" and I thought to myself "Is this really a game?" I'm a bit skeptical about an intro that contains a risk board being destroyed, a man running unflinchingly into 2 rifle bullets,the Gnarl, Britain and Red Alert. the Stalin didn't bother me at all. 4:10 on : o.k., I think we're both lost 7:00 : I'm not sure what just happened, but I think I'm going to watch the rest of this let's play and then Giant Stalin battled Octopus Hitler, and the game ended. I was sad to see the game end, and I wanted more (It's not like I was the one playing it). So then I checked out his channel...
