    The farthest we have ever gotten in US history was the Civil War. The farthest we got in World History is a brief 1 day discussion on "the powder keg" of Europe that started World War 1. And that is apparently as far as we are gonna get in Western Europe for this World History class. -_-

    9th. This is our second year ever learning World History. And we started (in western europe at least) with the Renaissance...
    Yeah, we have learned about the American Revolution 7 freaking times already. We actually only reached the Civil War once... Luckily our 7th grade history teacher was smart and made us do a decade project. We each randomly picked a card (without knowing what it was) and it had either the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000-2010. He made us do slideshows and presentations for a bunch of different categories of the specific decade we chose (I had the 70's FUCK YEAH) so we learned a little about 20th century America even though it was technically not required.

    Wow, when I was in high school learning about World history we got to the late 80s, early 90s and in US history we got up to 9/11.
