We use the meat, because my Dad thinks it's in bad taste otherwise, but it's not like we need the meat. The main reason is for sport. I don't enjoy it, though, so I almost never do it anymore.

I hunt every few weeks, but I have never killed something I haven't ate.

I need to go hunting some time, of course I'm 13 so the whole shooting stuff thing is a bit early.
I don't get why you guys would eat the food. I mean do you know where that rabbit has been? I'll take my McDonalds Drivethrough, thank you very much.

At least we know what part of the animal we're are getting.

Never gone hunting. I often cannot squash spiders, due to the immense guilt I feel afterwards. I doubt I have it in me to shoot a Deer, Rabbit or Bear.
(I am still indoctrinated into eating meat though. As long as you don't see the Animal suffer, it is okay to eat it.)

McDonalds has been through way worse than your simple cooked rabbit.

Never hunted myself, but I don't like the hypocrisy of meat-eaters who decry it.

I have been fishing though. One time was when I was in the merchant navy while docked in El Salvador. On break, the local dock workers would cast their lines overboard (no rods mind) and I would frequently have to negotiate my way through a multitude of fish flapping about on deck.

Naturally, seeing their success, I asked for a go, and one guy gleefully handed me a length. Anticipating a big catch, I cast off and waited for that tell-tale tug.

    I didn't land a bloody thing.

Has anyone gotten Salmonila from a Big Mac? Possibly, but sssshhhhh.

Anyway, McDonalds isn't diseased, to spite that one Hamburger every Year. Rabbits get diseased a lot. And I don't trust my Dad to be the best Chef to get all the bacteria out.
