HMM you have a good point. I must have had a serious error somewhere in my head. Anyway I didn't change shit it did that all on it's lonesome .

Still doesn't change that the blog post arguments were pretty lame and mostly were like har har well you believe something as a group so you're religious harhar. The people who think hamburgers are delicious cult grows every day now eh? Fanatics the lot of um.

The difference between us is we just don't believe in any sort of idols or fairy tales. If you think not believing in fairy tales is a religion, by all means carry on.

When you copy and paste something like that onto the forums, it sometimes messes with the colors for some reason.

In this case science is a religion.

In this case, political parties are religions.

So politcal ideologies are religions now?

According to those definitions everything is a religion.

This is the actual definition provided by dictionary.com.
Again, your sarcasm appalls me and you know I am right. You just want to be a dick about it because I am a Christian.

Now that I read it through, yes that is exactly what you are saying. Atheism is about denying a deity. Atheism is technically a religion.

A religion is belief in a deity. So your saying that atheism's "deity" is that no deity exists?

Atheism has nothing to do with any of the above; For the things mentioned in the first sentence, atheists generally refer to science.

Again, this doesn't apply to atheism; atheists have no set of practices or anything.

Again, there are no atheist practices (No, they don't all eat babies, and especially don't worship Satan. The cuntnugget who thought that up should be punched in the face for his sheer stupidity).

Again, this has little to do with atheism.

Again, there's no such thing as atheist practices.

Okay man by your definition I am part of a religion, why you want me to be one is another thing all together.

As I said, hope it makes you feel less silly ^.^

Besides that guys seriously he's talking out of his ass on this one Atheism literally means without theism or without religion. Calling Atheism a religion is much like calling ANY belief about ANYTHING a religion.

The defining difference is the lack of dogmatic faith in athiesm. Atheism has no defined set of beliefs reliant on a monopoly of divine truth.

Atheism is also the natural position, you are born an atheist and become mono/poly - theist. (Well, technically you are born athiest-agnostic)

While I understand your reasoning, that is still a misuse of the word dogmatic.

I will never understand how people that just blindly listens to others work.
Neither do I understand how theists can logically tell themselves that there is a divine being that is all knowing exists. Especially in the modern world where we can explain things that was unexplainable before.

By stopping to think that: Hmm maybe I shouldn't blindly believe what others said.
    You may have made progress.
