Well if it did come down to it Christianity, because if thats Proven right then Satan is real, and I,d just convert to theistic satanism.

But a close second would have to be the egyptians, because Set/seth is the god of red heads..

Islam is just Christianity++ . Christianity + muhammod - Jesus being god = Islam. It's an obvious late medieval middle eastern cultural influence on the Abrahamic religions. Of course the jesus freaks would still flip out but what can you do right?a

Firstly I'd like to ask just what the hell are you trying to communicate?

    Secondly..

Why do you think the fact that you can't explain or understand something instantly means god exists? Clearly since us, the all important humans, can't understand something then a diety of our imagining is proven to exist. We are humanizing something that clearly isn't human, there is no way we could expect what caused the big bang to be an intentional creation by a diety. For all we know you could have created a universe while reading this as the information flowed into your head and forged an idea which you started typing in reply.

I picked the Christian God, in the sense that it's a god who's the creator, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent.

Isn't that the same with almost all monotheistic gods? Why pick the christian god over the other all powerful gods, what makes said god better then the other gods (of monotheistic)?

Well, as all major monotheistic religions share one god, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference who it's attributed to. Though God as He's described in the Old Testament and in Islam isn't exactly a lovable character, much less something which we can attribute omnibenevolence.

I actually thought you would go with the christian God because you are more familiar with said God, though I agree the God of the new testament is a lot more forgiving and more a "lovable" character.

I drifted my self away from the topic in that post. But anyhow. What I meant by saying:" One point in our scientific search for the origin of big bang, comes out that only way it could have happened was by some higher being" is that the evidence pointed to CREATOR. I didn't mean:" we didn't found out the origin of the big bang and thus there must be god" I agree on the statement:" Absence of evidence is not evidence"

If the god of christianity and judaism would appear out of a 2000 year old hiatus I would criticize him instantly becouse of the hypocritical book of the Bible.

But norse gods would be awesome to be real.

    That isn't agnosticism, though.
