Well, you better get your German dictionary out, considering every single response the guy has given to justified rectifications.

And? It was a new thing. Had the English, Germans, or Japanese been the first to get their hands on the bomb they would have dropped it as well.
The important thing is that no one has dropped one since. I am not saying that Iran would ever actually use one if they got their hands on one, just that allowing them to solidify and hold any kind of advantage in the current geopolitical situation would definitely not be a good thing. Unless you like the prospect of theocratic police states having a voice in international politics.

I really think there is very little the west or anyone else can do sbout nuclear weapons.

Obviously we want to stop their spread around the world, but to forcibly prevent it makes us look too controlling and bullying smaller countries. Other countries will see it as their right to have the same weapons we do.
We cannot invade every country that wants nuclear weapons, and invading will generally make things worse.
The world will never give up nuclear weapons completely, even if all nations agreed to it, someone would still be afraid some terrorist or government in some corner of the world still has a nuclear weapon.

All in all, I think we, and all our governments, are bystanders on this issue, we can do nothing other than convince countries thinking of going nuclear that it is not the right course of action.

Having said that, I do not believe any government would every set off a nuclear device. If it ever happened, it surely would signal the end of life on earth for humanity.

Except Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon. If they did, they'd be standing on every single of their borders waving around their dicks at everyone who passes by.

I can only imagine Ahmadinejad going to all the embassies to rub sand into all the ambassador's eyes screaming "HAHA! FOOLED YOU FUCKERS! WE WERE WORKING ON A NUKE AFTER ALL!", after which three scenarios can happen:
    1) Iran won't use the damn thing because the whole world will dogpile them.
    2) They will try to use it, but it only falls over and does nothing.
    3) The West will wipe their military off the map and steal the nuke.
