I think the consensus is actually that he can do whatever he pleases. Nobody said anything about not complaining. That's why there's The People's Assembly.

He can veto anything at all that the tribunes propose. The assembly is to give you more of a voice but he can still do whatever he wants.

Stalin is the hammer that is rarely used but is necessary in the most dire situations. For example, Kara's racism in the Imperialism thread. Punishments for actions that are hard to justify continuing and simply drag the forum down if left unchecked.

Sorry about that, truly. But usually when half of the comments have become racist, it stops being useful and informative and generally pleasant. I sense everything good about that thread was long gone. I'm sure it can be edited later to make up for another persons (kara) actions but unlocking it may cause the topic to ignite again leaving us all in the same mess as before.

So, I read the rest of the thread, and I would agree that what Kara was saying was based off of ignorance, assumptions, and making statements that are highly subjective. So, he is an ignorant, racist fuck.
