Internet helped bringing down USSR. Bechose of Facebook Egypt has removed its dictator following with protests across midle east and china. Wikileaks is exposing dirty goverment secrets. People can get their news live.

If you value freedom and progression - witch I 100% do - you have to say YES

While there is a lot of good things bout the technological advances, in the end, i have got to say no. It is making us forget who we really are(i dont know how to put it) especially kids, becuz as we see, technology is a big part in y we r having the obesity epidemic in my opinion. It is keeping kids inside playing videogames and on the computer and watchin television and getting active. In my school, 9 out of ten people hate gym class and dont even do anything (we got atl east 10-15 people failing out of only 100 kids in our class. So no it is not a good thing for the most part despite all the good things that have came out of it.
