We have smart bombs nowadays. Post a link of any hospital or orphanage being bombed by western aircraft in the last 20 years and maybe ill believe you.

Smart bombs is a buzzword. They're still fucking bombs. They don't dodge civilians. Wherever they're dropped, whether by mistake or not, they land and kill whatever is there, and it certainly isn't the fault of whichever civilians live there that they died because they didn't vacate their home.
Not that it matters, because lighthouse wasn't actually referring to any specific bombings of hospitals or orphonages, but rather, using your own logic against you. With your logic, if a civilian area, such as a hospital or orphonage were bombed, it would be the fault of the people there for not moving to some place that wasn't going to be bombed. Ignoring the fact that civilians definitely shouldn't be bombed in the first place, I don't know how they're supposed to know where bombs are going to fall or where they're not. I can only assume that you would have all civilians vacate a country as soon as it engages on some kind of conflict.
I don't know why you liked this post, Mosh. He was being sarcastic, and at your expense, no less.
    EDIT-
I realize that if you google "NATO bombs hospital" or "US bombs orphanage", you will likely end up with quite a few ridiculous results, but it would probably be better if you restrained your exampled to credible sources.

Check wikileaks mosh LOL! My personal favourite is the helicopter that shoots down 7 guys in the street including a journalist and a van which had 2 children in it. All on video.

Smart bombs are actually made to be aimed, therefore it IS inexcusable and needs to be investigated when a civilian target is hit. I never said or posted any "logic" that says civilians should get out of the way. I said enemy SOLDIERS need to know they are going into harms way. Believe me, I find it despicable when we "accidentally" bomb civilians, but there's this thing called war. We proved in WW1 and WW2 that NOONE, from the frontline soldier to the wealthy bureaucrat in the capital to the farmer just trying to make his living, is safe.
It made me laugh, so I liked it.

And all that somehowe justifies participating in the slaughter? Even if they are bad people they in no way deserve this and since all these wars these days are totally unjustified it's curious that your somehow proud of this.

I'm not proud of it, but as someone who is the son of a military father and as someone who reads A LOT of military history, I see how it is unavoidable. Do I agree with attacking Iraq and Afghanistan? No. Will I support our US military even if it does something I'm not proud of? Yes.

They should be proud of the Wehrmacht. They shouldn't be proud of Hitler and the SS, but the Wehrmacht were kickass.

Kinda hard to be proud of someone who is purposely trying to systematically exterminate an entire race.
