Why do people only dwell on Hitler's bad points? Hitler had a bunch of good points, like outstanding charisma and determination.
Russians seem to be proud of Stalin despite his mass killings. I don't care about how many people he killed. The more the merrier.
Even when they knowingly volunteer to travel across the earth just to kill some people just to prove the terrorists right about us? I personally don't care at all about people in he military. I see the political necessity of it in this world regardless of morals. But I also think it's funny when people try to talk like their on the moral high ground for killing people to solve their problems.
There is no such thing in my book as the "moral high ground". Everyone has their bad and goodpoints. Just with most people the good outweighs the bad.
Most people are out for themselves, but they are a minority of people who will help others with no intended reward.
You can be happy about anything, simply because happiness is all relative. I'd be willing to say most people would concede that being happy is a benefit. So if your happy about doing a selfless act then you have received a benefit, ergo no act can be completely selfless if you can happy about anything having to do with the act. Some people donate to charity for just this reason that doesn't make it wrong but it does mean it's not completely selfless.
