Yeah....no....just no. It is a myth that "they're all on somebodys payroll". They are on their own companies payroll, and that's all. And I'd rather trust a critic than some random guy off the street.

I have trouble believing it too, but its apparently supposed to be really good. And also, it finds a way to explain why the Civil War was caused by vampires. I don't think anyone is ever going to really think of Abraham Lincoln as just a "vampire hunter", and if they do then they were never going to learn much about the guy anyways.
