No, I'm saying we would face the same problems in Uganda as we did in Vietnam and are in Afghanistan. We are bound by international lines and rules, while terrorists and "rebels" and the Viet Cong were and are not. In Vietnam, the Viet Cong sent their supplies through Cambodia and Laos. In Afghanistan, the terrorists are hiding in the mountains of Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan. In Uganda, the LRA is going between Uganda, the DRC, South Sudan, and the Central African Republic. If we were to make an attempt to attack and comprehensively defeat the LRA we would have to invade ALL FOUR of those countries to find Kony. It would be a disaster. And we can't just send in a special ops team. Thats what we tried to do in Mogadishu to take out another African warlord. We even KNEW where this guy was, and we were still massacred! Imagine how bad it would be if we had to search hundreds of square miles for some guy and a few hundred child soldiers that could be anywhere within the jungle! How are we going to manage that? Military intervention would just get us bogged down in some African country rather than the usual Middle Eastern country.

Well we have to consider what Kony 2012 was made to accomplish:
1) Did is raise awareness of Joseph Kony?
2) Did it cause actions to be taken against Kony?
Well obviously the first question is yes, as we are currently discussing this. However! The second question will be in the negatory. With great awareness has come with an increase in attention to the organization Invisible Children, many people have discovered faults within the charity itself, that, and its founders have turned out to be mental. However, as far as I know, there will still be a march to support the Invisible Children, so it may have spurred action, but nothing to combat Kony officially, but in the future, such things are possib;e, but as of now, the second question will be answered in a negatory.
