I'm sorry, but if you guys expect the Tribunes to fight for this idea, maybe Rom will, but not me. I think the whole situation with Kali is ridiculous. The only person looking at this has to be Spencer.

    /sarcasm(?)

You do realize that Spencer has a life outside the forums right?

No, Stalin entire existence should revolve around the forums. he should have no social life or outside contact except for when hes playing video games to post for our simple minds to pleasure over, and when he tells stories about this times with Canadian native women that just means he left his house and not making more lets plays. He should not be allowed to this.

I mean this is just simple pure logic. (Im being so fucking sarcastic right now)

So basically, it is suggested we make the Code of Conduct because Stalin is far too busy to deal with it. It was responded with, "Stalin must make this alone. We cannot leave it to the members/mods."

When it is brought up that he is possibly too busy/inactive to make it, the response is that expecting him to make a Code of Conduct is expecting far too much of him and he has more important things to do.

    I'm sensing circular logic.

This isn't the Capital of a Great Empire we're making, this is a Code of fucking Conduct. I could write one in less than an hour. Stalin and the modship are just being lazyasses.

Why does a code of conduct even fucking matter? God this forum is not what it should've been.

Because Mods should be held to higher standards. But there is nothing that currently forces the mods to do that. Thus, Code of Conduct.

/ most of us have real lives, and despite how much we may value the forums, they will always take precedence over it.

By all means though, you've been on a suggestions roll lately so I'd more then welcome your thoughts

I'm pretty sure he just called you a lazyass. You gonna take that from him? Sounded an awful lot like an insult to me.

The quote means that everything takes time and you have to be patient, nothing can happen instantaneously. This is a code of conduct, a behavioral code that every mod has to follow. You can't just throw some things together, you have to put a lot of thought into it. You have to constantly revise it, make changes, until you got something that is reasonable. Why? Because other people are going to have to follow this code, not just one person.

I suggest some grand intro paragraph and then a list of rules that are slightly stricter than that we have for default members. And again, ideally this would apply to active Tribunes as well.

I see what you did there.
