Seriously, do you like anything that isn't related to some brutal, authoritative government? Maybe a favorite band or soccer team? :p
I'm used to spending time with people who are ideologically opposed to me, ( I live in the American south. Enough said.) but this is on a whole new level.

There's no need to dispute against Che, if he was raised as a bolshevik, than that's totally fine. No need to dispute on what he is. I'm also a Socialist. Now that I've said it, i can't wait for you guys to say Anti-leftist comments against me.

We have different ideas about the political left. Yours seems to be extremely Orwellian.

god dam, I was at least allowed to choose what I beleive in without pressure. Being raised a bolshevik is like being raised by a southern person who claims to live by the bible.

Also, Do you do anything other than politicall stuff, like having a thing called a SOSCIAL LIFE? do you play video games? Sports? attend soscial events? Parties? Im begining to question your character or the existance of your soscial life...then again, we are all spending time on this forum so we should all question our own existance as human beings.

Also, on a side note, im going to be emporor or earth one day anyways so stop caring about polotics and join my crusade and I will ensure you dont become slaves or serfs!

    KNEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you not see that there is not one Coalition soldier in Libya? If Gadaffi is ever overthrown, and pray he will, it will be by the hands of Libyans, not Frenchman or Americans.

It seems Mr. Putin is finally stepping up, and is not going to allow America and France to steamroll the earth without being called on it at the very least.

We all know he disliked the resolution, which is why Russia abstentined. But that doesn't mean he's going to go after it.

Death To American Imperialism! Death To NATO!

Few things... You can't really say this is an example of American imperialism seeing as we weren't the ones to initiate all this, and I really doubt we would have gotten involved at all if other NATO and Arab countries hadn't already started.

Second, Ghadafi has been abandoning socialism for some time now and switching over to a market economy. I can post numerous articles about how he is privatizing property rights and businesses, or increased trade with capitalist countries.

Third, Cali brought up some good points. Fundamentally though, I don't think the West can stand by and let a guy who has a unique history of abuse against both his population and the world population (yes he has calmed down since 2003, but this is still a guy who openly supported terrorism across the globe for almost 40 years) continue to abuse and kill the people of Libya. If you feel that the right to govern comes from the consent of those governed or really any other social contract theory of governance, then you can't agree with what Ghadafi is doing. While it may be right to say this supersedes the UN mandate, you could easily have a case where NATO and a pan-Arab coalition are going in, as their mandate's would be different and consistent with international law.
