How are the rebels good? Were they good sameritans when they chased abd killed Africans? Were they good when they partnered up with mebers of Al Qaeda? And was Gaddafi bad when he created the best medical system in all of the Arabic world? When he subsidises education abroad? When he subsidises the price of food? When he attempts to re-Nationalize the oil after America strong armed Libya to privitize it, and bring 100 percent profits back to Libya instead BP? Or maybe it is his open border policy to African Immigrants either looking for work in Libya or use it as a stepping stone to Europe? Maybe it is the progressive womens rights where they can hold any job in the nation, including teacher, doctor, soldier or oil worker? Yeah damn progressives we need more theocratic values the rebels offer.

Anything to back that statement up? People could have easily risen up in the Tribes and Western Libya cause there is hardly any military precence there compared to around Tripoli.

And Lenincat no, the rebels are privitizing the oil. Only the so called "transitional council" will be getting any profits.

They are why do think there is fighting on the Western border with Tunisia. Your also forgetting they need gas for the war to buy food and other supplies so they are going to take oil profits to support their revolution then afterwards they will turn it back to the people.

They have already made pledges to privitize the oil.............................

There are not enough fucking periods in the world to cover how dumb your fucking response was.

Observer I am done arguing with you. You are thirteen and you pull everything you say out of your ass. You only waste my time.

PS - Ghadafi has already promised to "privatize" oil as well. Only his privatize is some weird robin hood scheme wherein each citizen receives a stipend (kind of like what they do in Alaska btw).

And there's no need to bring someones age or what you think or their intellect into it, you're bordering precariously on the verge of just pointless slander.

Oil had already been privitized after being strong armed by America... Gaddafi was attempting to re-nationalize the oil but Gaddafi does not have absolute power like popular belief. Therr are those that are bought off in congress by BP just like in Americas congress.

I didnt read anything about rebels privatizing oil. The transitional council was stolen from the rebels by NATO. I dont support the transitional council.

Because they don't produce enough oil to sustain their country & they need to import oil from country's where it is cheap like the middle east. Seeing as Libya has huge oil reserves, then I guess it is pretty damn cheap.

Edit: I am neutral in this argument, I support both sides in certain aspects.

NATO are ready to send in attack helicopters in Libya. They won't do shit to the regime, more likely they will be shot down.
