Looks like Russia has pulled their support of Gadhafi. My guess is that the regime is about to fall with the fact that he was trying to use Russia as a mediator for peace talks and the current NATO bombings of Tripoli.

Well Gaddafi's being persued by the ICC for crimes agianst humanity. the charges at the moment are ordering security forces to shoot civilians

1. When and by who?

2. The size of our "Defense" Budget disagrees.

3. Weapons and munitions aren't made out of magical pixie dust. They're made in factories out of raw materials. Factories that are owned by corporations and have contracts with the military.

War is big business.

I don't see how anyone could possibly deny that, I think he was saying the military industrial complex being in control of the media has been disproved.

I can't quote exactly where I was reading it, but I think I should rephrase. The military industrial complex needs to be revised. It is better for industry if there is war, obviously, just no war in or involving its home country. (Because of restrictions on trade that come with it) It is better for industry to sell to both sides of another war.

okay sorry i have to say something here, the first thing i said when i read this was. who the hell still even carpet bombs? because i can you can the US Airforce doesn't even have the type of aircraft to do a carpet bombing campaign. also carpet bombing is completely outdated, it costs to much money compared to a smart bomb run.

True, but they server the same purpose. (Destroy every thing in designated target area.). One is just less likely to destroy an apartment complex 50 miles away from the target.
