    Well if you guys want an update the rebels have taken Tajoraa, Suq al-Jumaa, Arada and al-Sabaa neighbourhoods and there is fighting for Ben Ashhour, Fashlom, and Zawiyat al-Dahmani. The rebels also announced what the operation is called "Mermaid Dawn." The rebels have also captured 104 Gaddafi soldiers among them a lieutenant colonel and an air force general.

    The Rebels are not beginning the siege. The gun fire you read about in Tripoli, is only there disperse and frighten the supporters of Gaddafi. I can not wait for the Rebels to begin their siege on Tripoli, it really isn't going to be a cake walk.

    It is called operation mermaid dawn! The one responsible for the operation names at the NATO HQ should be fired! Next we have operation sparkling unicorn and operation rainbow dancer.     Soviet does have a point, things are going to get uglier, but the majority of what he says is meaningless because the result is inevitable even now.

    Till NATO has to decide if they continue their engagment in Libya is still one month away, even then so close to victory i doubt they will stop. Also no way ghadaffi can hold out one month.
