Since the launch of Operation Moshroom Stew, a day has passed. Advance has yet to slow down as the Imperial Kara Army has moved forward fighting only isolated pockets of Mosh forces. With the Kara Navy unchallenged in the Great Lakes, an amphibious assault was landed in New York, designed to support the main advance force. It landed with little success, having lacked supplies and training. Eventually, with large casualties, it broke through off the beaches. These borders were displayed as the current front lines on Kara State TV: [spoiler:1ubkg8q5][/spoiler:1ubkg8q5] They are, mind you, a bit exaggerated in order to insight more moral from the people and in order to demoralize prisoners and Mosh fighters. Military Police were not equip, as they previously thought, to keep down the protests and riots. In order to cope with this heavy weaponry, such as tanks and armored cars, were sent into the streets to blow apart crowds. All civilian vehicles were barricaded off roads, and if found on roads confiscated. After a successful Coup young LK turns the once democratic republic into an authorian empire. After years of propaganda from the near omnipotent government he produces a world class military and police force. Making sure all political opponents were silenced early on he managed to make his people into die hard loyalists to their emporer. He then set his eyes on his southern neighbour. Using the element of surprise and brute military force he seized istanbal, most islands, and all the border provinces in a week. Using the imperial navy he decimated his opponents ability to fight at sea and began a bombing campaign along the coast. In no time the enemy broke at the front line and retreated to southern Greece allowing the Imperial Army to gobble up many provinces with no resistance. Some large units have held onto some provinces after refusing to retreat with their fellow soldiers.
To keep things realistic, I'm going to hault tomorrow as a day of "securing the position and keeping down unrest in new territory". Also, I'll edit the map with all the new boundries tomorrow maybe, as a favor to Mosh after eating up his nation.
