Protheans are Gods is more likely cause they actually visited our world once. Click it! Reapers were probably build by someone/something. Cause I don't think nature evolves metals into sentience... Could be wrong though, and that would be interesting.
Alternatively, the reaps were a race that fused AI's/robotics into their bodies and went slightly xenophobic as a result, rather than another Geth race.
Baseless: Without foundation in fact. Fact: Something that is indisputably the case. Theories are not supposed to be factual or false, theories are simply speculation on something they're not made to be 'facts' until proven so. So you calling my theories 'baseless' really doesn't make any sense considering theories aren't supposed to be facts. The only time theories really have any merit is in the scientific field, because in order for something to be made into a Law it has to be a theory first. Also, I wasn't stating the information you see in the game is false, but merely was speculating that there could be something bigger at work in the story.

The 'something bigger' you posit is in direct contradiction with the developer's own explanations. As well, you have a gross misunderstanding of what a theory is, especially in the scientific sense. A theory is not something that will become a scientific law. Scientific laws are the directly observable patterns in nature. Theories are the explanations behind those patterns. A law will tell you how or what, but a theory will tell you why. They are supported by facts, otherwise it's wild speculation. What you're doing here is completely contrary to what we accept as fact in the universe, so it's not even wild speculation, it's out and out nonsense.
