So far the Securtiy Council has voted Yes - 2 No - 0 (one means veto) Abstain - 1 12 hours when posted @ Japan, we are talking of the lands you took in WW2
((As no one has a preference on what I should be, I will become Iran)) For my first actions as Iran: Government funding will be sent to bolster oil extraction at a later date. ((Read - As soon as I can afford it)) A trade mission will be sent to the USSR, China, the US, the UK, and France with the intent of increasing consumption of oil from Iran. Iran shall denounce the Turkish aggression against Iraq, it is a threat to the possible peace and tranquility of the Middle East. Iran will further suppress the Kurds and hunt down rebels. Iran will build up infustructure across the nation, primarilly ports, roads, and railways at a later date. ((Again, as soon as I can afford it.)) Edit: Iran will abstain.
The Soviet Union would like to propose a non-aggression pact with Iran, with the hopes of building our relations, and reinforcing regional security. We also accept your trade proposition, and hope this will lead to a long, and fruitful economic relationship.
Ok, we clearly arent in a position to go to war with a major power, nor escalate this war. As a Social-Democratic Nation, we chose to instead to make peace like this: 1. We want to retain our Socialist-Democratic ways 2. Remain Neutral 3. Gain Iraq, however war reparations will be paid off 4. Lower Military power NATO has no business in Iraq except the UK, however only has bases in the area and no other justification to join the conflict. As stated before, the bases will stay under UK control, and supplied accordingly by the people of Turkey. We also recognize that BP monopolizes on the oil fields of Iraq and their oil fields will remain to BP, but cannot expand into Iraqi oil fields anymore. To the United States, we have intervened in Iraqi chaos to restore order. The Socialist rebels have requested Turkish intervention and we obliged. If Kara however wants to play as Iraq then Iraq will be released as a free Social-Democratic state under Turkish protection and Kara's leadership.
On second thought, Ill pull out. Clearly the westerners are up for more bloodshed and Turkey does not yet have allies. We will sign formal peace. As well as the fact that reparations for Iraq will be paid off. But we will not, under any circumstances change our government, nor allow NATO nuclear warheads on our soil. To Iran, We wish to apologize for our warring acts near your borders, and will send agricultural technology and aid to you're nation, free of charge.
The Soviet Union does not support Turkeys proposition. We suggest that Turkey considers our Compromise proposition, else we cannot guarantee any intervention on your behalf. (Edit: Ninja'd)
Can you please restate the proposition? EDIT: very well, No reps or change in government will apply to the peace for Turkey
(Your post didn't display until I had already clicked reply. It was in response to your post about continuing the invasion of Iran, allowing BP into your nation, and all that.)
You baselessly invaded a sovereign nation violating several UN declarations. Your not getting off scott-free. Politically motivated or not the USSR should not support this act of senseless aggression from Turkey. I push forward a UN resolution demanding that reparations be paid to Iraq to allow for it's infrastructure to be rebuilt and for the destruction to families in this war. Not doing so would only set a precedent that would weaken the ideals set forth by the UN.
The Soviet Union understands the concerns put forth by the representative of the United Kingdom, and we agree that some compensation may be necessary. We suggest a payment of (1mp) should be fair. (Ninja'd)
And your still pushing to escalate the war? We did very little infrastructure damage and no families were killed or harmed. PoW's will be returned, peace be made and I'll get on the war reps. But Im not allowing NATO to just walk in to a strictly restoration of order conflict that has nothing to do with the UK or any other nation. Also I like how you say that if I switch to NATO again, I'll have claim on any lands, just as long as you can place nukes in Turkish soil to point at the peaceful nation of the USSR. So, who has show higher levels of aggression?
Turkey, this isn't about spheres of influence or reds versus freedom loving democracies. You cannot go around invading sovereign nations, period.
I find it difficult to believe that you managed to perfectly execute a war. Mistakes will be made because we're dealing with humans and those mistakes should have consequences. The UK or anyone else here doesn't need a direct link to the conflict to try to stop it, we are a peacekeeping organization so we keep the peace regardless of ideology. My conditions are not outlandish, actions have consequences and it is time to face the music The difference between me and you is that I am only talking big so far, if I followed through with my plans than you would have something but in actuality I needed to counter the deals the socialist nations were putting out but now that those are off the table things can be more reasonable. Also by putting nukes in your territory I am not violating any international law just making sure the USSR doesn't try anything funny. Or have you forgotten that there is a war on?. So far you are the only one showing any aggression.
I want to clear something up, the attacking is based on a system... The amount it says needed to take a land equals the percentage of success (on first page) if you want a smaller price such as half, taken half off the MMP required.
