    Aaaaaannnnnyyyywwaaaayyysssss, this idea is riskankulous. If mods were elected then they would be unable to carry out rule enforcement impartially. As well, mods on this site (read: admins) are appointed by Stalin because he wants these people to keep the peace and run the day-to-day. Letting any old pleb take up the reigns is just silly, and would require Stalin to simply create an even higher position in order to keep the people he wants in power in power.
