Hmm... The UN charter forbids Annexation, but only in aggressive expansionist wars, we are peacekeepers who were fired upon first, The people of Guatemala want our protection they have no faith in their government, we have made claims for a Union of the two countries, we will pass a vote, to the UN,

Members of the UN, The Mexican government asks you to incorporate the nation of Guatemala to our nation, long have its people shuddered in fear of its government, they have lost faith in there government and want unification, while the USA and Other nations support our cause, we are not forcing the Guatemalans to do anything they can leave if they want, but the simple fact is they want our government they want our freedoms, we are going incorporate the WILLING people of Guatemala into our nation, Mexico is the shining hope for freedom in Hispanic america, we ask the UN to acknowledged our union and we only want to see these people safe, this war was not a conquest, this war is a Union between 2 willing nations, if the UN does not accept this we are will to accept Punishment FOR THE PEOPLE OF GUATEMALA!!

Are you going against the law of the UN. If you can't follow the rules, then we have to do something about it. We are giving you one last chance mexico, either release Guatemala as a free nation or be banned from the UN.

joseph kanwa ask UN could south-afrika unite Lesotho and Swaziland to south-afrika?
    we have strong cultural ties.
And our business suffers because our trucks have to pass through customs that requires a fee per ton, in the middle of SA or when trying to go to Mozambique.

As we stated before with mexico, we can't allow the annexation of nations. It's against our law and allowing people to go annex other nations will make us look like a weak organization.

OK SA respects the UN and backs down. We shall ask these country's for free pass through customs.
(Lesotho is having vote to join the SA) (Swaziland wants nothing to do with this)
is it OK if they want to join me? Considering the cultural ties?

The UN needs to make a decision on this. Lethoso is at peace with you and you two have not had any wars in 50 years. The UN needs to vote on this issue.

Will the UN vote on my Issue, so far the Guatemalan's are happier under our rule and many people there now have the Freedom of buying Records, and Cars. I think UN member should come to Guatemala and see how happy they are and talk to them, they will tell you the truth.

Mongolia will follow the UN's decision, but believes that annexation could lead to a second imperialist wave.

In other news, Mongolia stresses it's support for protests in Tibet and Inner Mongolia.

The difference is that your issue deals with a war between you and Guatemala.

    @ Mongolia
Godmodding much? Where is your economy to support all of that? Where are you getting those materials to build?
Where are you getting the technology?
And are you TRYING to make the PRC angry?
What protests? No protests have been reported by anyone. And merely taking that position before any protests take place show a clear bias that mean that you cannot be trusted with supplying reliable information.

The PRC reminds the UN that no country has provided ANY soldiers for peacekeeping duties yet. As such, the UN actually has no peacekeepers. Futhermore, a full vote in the UNSC and the General Assembly to oust any nation.

He said in an earlier post that he only has a few regiments of rifles and nothing else. He said he is trying to make an airforce. Don't expect jets or rockets, maybe biplanes or p-51s.

Belgium and France have given peacekeepers.

Given peacekeepers to particular situations that are occuring or give peacekeepers to the UN? Last I checked, the sent units to particular situations, not to the UN.

OOC: Can we wait until the game starts, Surf will be a better representative of the UN than me.
The UN asks UN nations to provide soldiers for peacekeeping operations.

If you are at peace, then you can't annex them because annexation comes with peace terms. But even if they want to be with Mexico, an extensive peace period between your two nations has to last. The peace period is 50 years at least.
