I agree. Napoleon was in no way a coward. A coward would have layed down his arms when the whole of Europe turned against him. Napoleon instead took the idea of the best defense being a good offense to heart, and obliderated his opponents on continental Europe before they could join together.

He nearly succeeded too. And he brought the European nations towards democracy.

How was he a tyrant? I can never understand how anyone could call Napoleon a tyrant. He was in no way oppressive.

He was a Hero if your French, and a tyrant if your Prussia, Russian, Austria, Spanish, Portuguese, British, Irish, Dutch, Belgian, Italian, Swiss, or Swedish. He's ok if your Polish.

No he didn't. If anything he set it back.

I'm using this definition "anyone, good or bad, who obtained executive power by unconventional means."

And if you're Latino-American or Brazilian, you see him as a liberator, the Polish as well.

He was ordered back to france, so I would not call him a coward. Their was a reason the french people loved him so im going with hero. Otherwise, he gave alot of people a run for their money.

He's French, so that makes him a coward and a tyrant.

This is about Napoleon, not about the tea sipping and bad hygiene English.
