This is Josefvstalin.com. We do things the Josefvstalin.com way. We build things up and up and up and up until they accumulate to be so heavy that they crash onto the forum, last for days, before someone gets banned for some stupid reason and we move onto the next issue.

Any issue that doesn't have at least one banning threat is a relativly dull afair.

I think Napoleon is still so banned because he made so many multi accounts.

Also, it's foolish to say anyone is 100% beyond rehabilitation with no chance of redemption. Sure it can be improbable, but not impossible. If someone has redemed themselves then it is narrowsighted to keep them banned.

I'm pretty sure Kara was joking, the sad thing is I don't think you are. This site is not Steam, believe it or not, our rules and bans don't apply there. Stalin can talk to Nappy on Steam all he wants, doesn't mean he wants him to come back on this site where Nappy caused a lot of trouble. What Nappy does on Steam doesn't affect his website at all.

My feelings indeed about our forum's mentality.

    Rehabilitation.

You honestly think someone like Che can be Rehabilitated.

You don't seem to understand that this is not a prison, this is not a mental health care facility, this is not a RL punishment, this is a forum. Our job is not rehabilitation, it is running this site and getting rid of those who break the rules constantly. Che had plenty of chances to change, he was banned 3 times. At any point he could have stopped breaking the rules and stayed a member of this community.

No I'm pretty sure he was joking.
Also, if Stalin still sees Napoleon as a nice conversor and is welcome to talk with him any time, why must he be banned? It seems like Napoleon must be perfectly reasonable for Stalin to want to talk to him.

Lastly, you can do lots of stuff on Steam to harass the website. For instance, if you played Wurm a lot before it got big, when our NKVD began settling in the Epic server, you could march an army through and burn it to the ground. Or in Shores of Hazeron you could send a few TL32 ships to Leningrad and blow it to pieces.

And that isn't on our site. Once again you confuse the NKVD with the forum itself.

You continue to throw a 'three strike's your out' mood towards this.

We simply ask for a brand new start, if Che throws one countum ONE vulgar or racist remark ban him.

If Napoleon does the same Ban him as well.

I'm sure Napoleon can rouse enough support to "obliterate" the NKVD. But even if he could we would attempt to prevent him from personally being a problem on the forums and that is all we are obligated to do.

I'm not sure about Wurm but on Shores of Hazeron he'd just have to join a TL32 Empire and he's have the NKVD branch under his thumb.

Then why didn't you like his post?

And that is just one branch and it is just him having a grudge on a different site. It's really not that relevant.

He's had his three strikes (really he had more then that as he continued to take strikes as we were debating what to do about him) there's no reason to give him any more. Also it is really only you asking, not "we", and this is the first time you've proposed this particular solution, so stop trying to make yourself the victim.

@Kara, as Chels noted, we're not a prison system, none of us our psychologists, some of us haven't even graduated high school, let alone obtained the education necessary to even think about the rehabilitative process. Not to mention, among professionals there is no consensus on the efficacy or success of rehabilitation. We're all here as members who share common interests and like discussing them in a civil manner. When you violate that, you're no longer welcome here - simple as that.

It seems to me that an overwhelming majority don't want these people back. So it would appear that this shouldn't even be a debate anymore, they stay banned.

People who have been banned have been banned for a reason, and should thus stay exiled. No exceptions.

Give me about 10 years and I'll have my PHD in psychology, but until that time I'm standing by the previous bans.
