Pharoah Total War i could play as a pharoah and rule the known world (aka. north and central africa, middle East, parts of Southern Europe
I hopes its Rome II Total War its the only Total War (other than Empire and Napoleon) to have a sequel although their really isn't much to add but better graphics but they could add Naval battles and more detailed units maybe more and maybe add more life to the Generals
That would never work with the Total War style. Ever. The stuff that they would have to change to make it work, it wouldn't be a Total War game anymore. I don't know why people don't understand how drastically different the modern style of war is and why it doesn't fit with the Total War style.
You know, I actually asked this on an earlier episode of the war room, and I said Greece. Playing as one of the many city states trying to fight against the others, as they so often did. I think it would be amazing!
In my opinion the next one will be in the post-Napoleonic/Victorian/Industrial age going up to the 1920's. And just 100 years of the entire world at you're disposal this time, more nations to choose and a wider style of gameplay. ABER DEUTSCHLAND WILL DIE mächtigste von ihnen allen!! Für das Imperium!
And add historical accurate factions, realistic units, more factions, a less overpowerd rome, emerging factions, and a bigger map (preferrably the size of empire minus the America's obviously). I think they need to go with the Empire Total War emerging factions, except into more detail where factions emerge at historically correct times. Also, they should make the Roman campaign like the Road To Independence Campaign, where it would progress through major events in Roman history. Of course you could also play a regular campaign as Rome.
Or any other factions. I guess we will see. If my calculations are correct they will announce the next in November/December.
For the Roman units, they should make the legionaries 80 men each (because that would represent a centurion). They should also up the amount of units in an army to 25. Also, they should allow you to command more than 2 armies on the battlefield at the SAME TIME. This way, when you play as the Romans, you could kind of simulate the 480 men cohorts by grouping 80 men centurions to add up to 480 men and have multiple groupings so you can have multiple cohorts. Also, doesn't CA kind of always announce their new total war game in December/November?
CA's games almost always come out in spring meaning they announce their new game the next winter for the next game the next spring. I hope I didn't just hopelessly confuse you .
