It's not the company's fault that an African country willingly agrees to take the waste from their hands and doesn't built the proper facilities. How can you hold them responsible? They were just making a nice deal, it's the African country's fault for biting off more than they could chew.

You guys know that no company actually dumps their waste in Africa? So stop bitching about it.

Also the people don't want public Nuclear power plants. Because they think Nuclear Power Plants are bad. Because all they see is a Nuclear Meltdown (though most don't even know what that means).

Actually it's illegal in those countries to they just don't have the people to enforce it or they get bribed. Also have you ever heard of a thing called Corporate Social Responsibility.

I wish we could just use green energy, but it just isn't going to cut it, so I support nuclear energy as the lesser evil. And with the new technologies(as you said) it really isn't that much of an evil.

Yeah, those crazy dictators always have the people's interest in mind, right?

Of course, the people don't want to rise up and overthrow the dictatorship. In a round about way it's their own damn fault.

Are you fucking serious? If they have a strong military, they can put down any rebellioin. Can you name me 3 dictators in Africa and the Middle East that have their people in their best interests?

No, they have every potential to march the streets and demand change.
Libya, Egypt, Syria... The people of most of those nations simply don't have that will. It's not our fault they're weak. If they don't like the system they should grab their pitchforks and torches and change the system. The entire World will cheer them along, too. Except China and Russia, because they're dicks for some reasn.

Anyway, not really any of them do. More reason for revolution, in my book.
