Took it again to be added to the scatter. I don't agree with a lot of these questions, a lot of them are pretty dogmatic and don't express the gravity of the issues they are trying to address.

for instance "A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system." that is a true statement, but agreeing that it's true doesn't make me a stateist. Just because you would think something is an advantage doesn't mean it outweighs its consequences. So I find myself picking answers that lead to the conclusions they want, rather then what I actually think. O well, still fun...

It’s getting a bit too crowded in the libertarian left section... we need more authoritarians!

Nice scatter graph, surprised that so many left wingers have posted here. I would love to see how JVS scores.

I got pegged as a conservative neoliberal, which I find questionable.
I certainly did not support McCain in '08.

Thought you'd be higher up... Which questions did you not answer in the authoritarian sense?

Not sure. But I only put agree and not strongly agree with the "Only people that have something to hide are afraid to be watched." Or something of that sort.

That would bump it down a bit... Last time I took the quiz (like 4 yrs ago I think) I answered agree to that question, but this time I put disagree. To me it's more of an issue of civil liberties, more then authoritarianism. While I agree with the statement, I disagree with the sentiment, if that makes any sense.

I suppose. I only agree with it outside of the home however, and only in the most extreme circumstances inside of the home.

Your score is (-6,-1). This puts you in the centre but leaning towards the New Libertarians Quadrant(Q3).

Pretty close to moderate republicans nowadays... There's a scatter somewhere on the site that shows where politicians and famous historical figures are
