I'm pretty liberal, but according to them I'm apparently neutral/slightly to the right.

At least they got the libertarianism right.

Perhaps you're not really liberal. Maybe you just want to be liberal, when in truth you don't actually agree with anything they say... If you want I could ask you a few questions and tell you where you lay on the ideological side of things

The original meaning (and correct one) of liberal would be one who is most concerned with achieving more liberty; civil, political, and economic. So real liberals are in Q4.

Authoritarian leads to socialism's degeneration. In the words of Leon Trotsky Socialism requires democracy like the body requires oxygen.

Nah. Even if I'm not actually liberal (which I doubt I'm not), I would think I am because I'm against conservatism and generally disagree with Republicans for the Democrats. The score was probably cause I strongly agreed to Reaganomics. If you want to I'd be interested in what you'd have to say though.

Kalifornication summed it up pretty well. Basically if you believe in the primacy of individual rights (which is really championed by both sides in America) then you're ideologically liberal.

See my comment. Libertarians are ideologically liberal. They fall under the neoclassical liberal model that developed as a result of the industrial revolution. I think Murray rothbard would slap you in the face if you tried calling him conservative...
