For world peace to exsist humans will have to stop being human.

    This.

Fighting is part of what makes us the Human Race. You simply can't change an entire race through marches and angry signs. There will always be War, because War is Human.

I am inclined to agree. As long as we are human, there will be war

Resources has always been one of the top motives for war, but boredom?

Well, world peace is possible but improbable in our lifetime because humans will always find reasons/justifications to go to war.
For money, resources, landmass, honor, etc. etc. it's is greed but i think that this greed can be beneficial if 'used' properly (hear
me out now) if we were a united race this greed would ''push'' us to expand into the universe and be happy space conquering people. (first mars and then THE HOLL UNIVERSE MHU HA HA HA) *muhum* but since we aren't united we try and conquer ourselfs and create these things we can 'borders' to mark what is ours and what is (filthy) foreign soil.

but back to your question, Yes it is possible but unlikely

If it was boredom, then they probably used a different motive to make the war look more just.

People don't like to march to their deaths because the King is bored. But, Napoleon's return fro Elba as largly motivated by boredom.

The only way for world peace to occur would be if we all pushed for one thing. No distraction no problems only progress

Asking whether the human race will ever have world peace is a bit like asking whether the African savannah will ever have vegetarianism. It ain't gonna happen.

When people get too complacent they fight amongst themselves for stupid shit. Humans naturally conflict with each other . Just needs the right spark. You could argue that WW1 was due to boredom. All that it was was alliances and one guy's assassination that SOMEHOW started a war which killed millions across the globe. There's several cases of monarchs pitting their own citizens against each other or starting wars that had no real material or religious purpose.
