I can be serious. Just tell her, but try not to be a jerk about it. If you let her know nicely, she hopefully wont be as crushed.
My prom was probably one of the best experiences of my life time. I asked one of my best friends to go with me, and the dinner the school served was excellent and the DJ was great. After that we went to her friend’s house who was holding a dry grad party, which was awesome because all my colleagues came with me and no one got drunk and did stupid shit or threw up everywhere. Instead we played rock band, karaoke, and some of the other guys set up a poker game upstairs. After the party I walked my date back to her house and spent the night there doing I am pretty sure you can guess what. The point is that your prom should be something you remember for the rest of your life, so taking some random stranger that you don’t know probably isn’t the best idea.
But she seems like a person who would break down. When she found out she wasn't class president she bawled her eyes out.

Ok everyone, I would like to thank those who gave advice and tell all those who didn't, I really don't care. But since this issue will most likely come to a climax tomorrow I will take all of what you said into account and inform you of the results.
