Really? I always had so much trouble with that game...however, when I replayed it some time ago I went through it without any trouble.

Oh yeah, almost forgot about that one because I'm playing Mass Effect 3 now. I've recorded 10 hours and I haven't even finished uploading Mass Effect 2. I think I'll do KOTOR tomorrow.

How many what? LP's? 4 on my own channel, 1 on the NKVD channel.
Uploading at the same time? Only an hour, 4 parts.

Is it a very good game?

10 hours?! That must have been at least a day's recording...

Yes, it is. It's one of Bioware's best games. I would say even better than Mass Effect.

I did mean current running LPs. 5 seems like quite a lot indeed...

It's awesome. Great story, great main character and the best droid/robot in any kind of universe ever. No contest. I played through the second game as well, but it just wasn't as good as the first one.

Of course, it's quite old by now, so graphically, it's terrible when you compare it to any modern RPG. Still, I love it.

It's a pain to record. Or at least, finding out how to record it. Once you find out it's not that bad.

    What's wrong with it, then?

Fraps doesn't record the cutscenes. You only have audio or the game will crash. I play the game in windowed mode and turn Fraps off once a cutscene starts. After I finish recording I record the cutscenes with Camtasia, you can start them from the main menu. And another tip, to avoid a copywright strike, read the intro story instead of just letting the music play and the text roll by.

Recording the cutscenes with Camtasia? Camtasia didn't seem to record games for me at all. Fraps didn't work on my computer, so I had to use Snowfox screen recorder.

I don't know about gameplay footage, but it's the only way to record the cutscenes in KOTOR.

That's pretty weird. But you should try if Snowfox works. That might be a good alternative.

I'll stay with Fraps. So far the KOTOR cutscenes are the only moments it doesn't work.

But you'd have to switch between Fraps and Camtasia all the time. Isn't that tedious as hell?

Well, the movies that play would randomly minimize the game for me, not sure why. I think it had something to do with Fraps. But, they're in the KotOR folder, so you could even try editing them in from there.

Not really. I just turn off Fraps in the cutscenes and after my recording session I record the cutscenes from the menu.

I could help you guys with PVP video's in Rome: Total War or Hearts of Iron II. Also, there is a game called Battlezone I have, it's a really friggin' old game that runs great, I don't have a USB headset so I can't do an LP of it, but there's an option for any of you who wants to, it takes merely seconds to download, and is completely free.

@DutchMasterRace I volunteer for a short LP of tropico 1 and/or Private Cove.

Edit- Maybe Happy Wheels, idk if fraps will be able to record it though.
