Very rarely have I met an atheist who wasn't also a hateful anti-theist. I was the same way when I was an atheist, and you are acting no different. Look at what you are doing man, you are debating with people about Christianity and how wrong it is on the internet, with people who meet douchebags like you all the time on the web. There's nothing you can tell them that they haven't already heard and you're just making yourself look like an ass. Stop wsting your time and acknowledge that other people have different beliefs, and trying to convince them that you are right and they are wrong just makes you look like a self-righteous prick. You aren't better than anyone here, stop acting like it, and just live and let live. Nobody gives a damn on how you act "comparatively", because all I see is another atheist asshole who thinks he is better than everybody else and has to tell them about it.

I don't conform to a religion. I have personal views on the universe and it's questions that do not relate to any religion or philosophy, and I encourage others to have independent views as well. But I more closely resemble a deist or pantheist, or an agnostic maybe. I don't know, I dislike labels.

Edit: Damn murphy's law, why are you so true?

I actually dont give a shit how anyone here perceives me or thinks what kind of a prick I am. I debate theists, because I want to. I dont intend to convert them, nor to change their minds. I do it, because I like it. Period.
Now, if you want to call me doucheback for stating my opinion on religious matters and pointing idiocy and flaws in religion out with proper sources (as I did all discussion long), go right ahead. If you want me to give a shit about it, I won't. And to repeat my self another time: I REALLY don't give a shit about it!

If you want to take part in the discussion rather than tell me how I am a bad person for pointing out that the christian god is cruel, go right ahead. I stand by that and take the argument one step furcther:

God created humans to be sinners, but offered a way out of our pain. It's like a drug dealer, who offers you the first shot to hook you up, just to sell you the "relief" afterwards.

But if you put it that way then your saying that the bible is outdated, Why should anyone study or believe in it then ?, and the old testament ain't the only one the new testament is odd too.

Jesus says you can beat up a slave even if they don't know their doing anything wrong.

    Luke 12:47
The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given."

Jesus must be the most loved thing in your life.

    Matthew 10:34-38
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Edit: I also never understood why anyone would want to willingly follow somthing that tries to tell you your a sinner doomed to hell unless you follow a guy in the sky who is responsible for a large amount of deaths, blindly and without question I just never got it.

It's an analogy. God created us flawed but fear niot, he offers us a way out. So he basically is the reason for your "sickness" (in this case the sin), and the cure.
Drug dealers often give new customers a free shot, because they know it will make them addicted to it (Heroin in this example). So they create the sickness (your addiction), but offer the way out, another shot.

I knew that god didn't * Write * the bible but if you believe in it, he did help by telling his prophets and people what to write., People interpreted the bible but the thing is if their are so many interpretations which one is the right one ? On one side you got people who are trying to say that somthing like this.

    Levictus 20:13

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death.

Now to me and most people who probably read this straight up this obviously says, Gay people must be killed, and it was probably practiced like that for a while.

But in the modern day where gays are more accepted now alot of christians have interpreted it this way.

If you have sex with someone of the same sex in a womans bed you are a sinner.

if theirs so many ways to interpret the bible how do we not know were sinning right now ?, How can anyone live with the idea that a guy in the sky is watching their every move and waiting for them to mess up, and beg for forgiveness ?

Yeah I messed up the sabbath part my bad.

But even so christianity came from these *Zealots* and these so called Zealots were practicing the * Correct form* of worshipping god for many years, it wasn't untill today that most people interpreted god as a man of peace you know why ? Because times changed and like the people their religion did too, if you were to meet a christian or a jew of jesus's time and you both talked religion they would look at you like you were crazy, Alot of modern christians and jews follow a really watered down version of the religion that has changed with the times, Why ? try telling someone that being gay in public is wrong now, Sure ya got some assholes who will probably back that idea up, But alot of people now will say its wrong,

Yeah, I just want ya to know though im not trying to be a * Asshole* or somthing like that, its just I want to make sure people understand that the bible ain't all about peace and love ya know ?, it has some odd things in it, that most people in todays world would look at and go The fuck ?, But christians can be good people it's just I don't see how people can willingly follow a religion that trys to tell you, You make mistakes everyday and you need to get on your knees and pray for forgiveness.

But anyway yeah stop by anytime bro, It's mostly just me ranting and raving though lol.

Well, me of course, helps me to not get bored when I have free time on my hands. Also I found most discussions of religion to be quite entertaining for observers.
It's not that I don't make arguments, and just provoke all the time, allthough some people try to convince themselves and all other that I do, and that I am a bloody asshole. If you read up the other pages, I do make arguments and quote neutral sources, like Gallup Polls and stuff. The only other who did something like that was this Carthage dude, who quoted not one, but two whackass religious nut job websites.
