well theire army isn't that big when it commes to manpower anymore as russia is having a decline in it's population.

Also the russian army is pretty high tech in some ereas. Take the T-90 main battle tank as an example or theire famous helicopters and the newer AK's or the AN 94. The problem they have is that they can't afford to outfit theire entire army with all theire best tech.

Not to mention that Russia is looking into influanceing there former soviet neighbors again, along with china and Europe surrounding them. Russia going to have to be more military aggressive.

Nice source of information. I understand Georgia is a hot spot but, taking it over? no, I don't think so.

Russia has made some pretty neat toys since Kalashnikov, some of which didn't actually go into production, unfortunately.

    Google/Wikipedia AK200, that's a new AK.

The Russian Military isn't a fucking Super Thread. You need at least 15 pages + 2 merged threads before you should declare a Super Thread. This is a baby thread that's been glorified.

Also, fuck the Russians. Putin should keep his grubby hands off sovereign nations.

They are their neighbours, which they can protect very well. What they cant do in a large scale is operations over the seas.

Yes, because the Americans totally don't interfere with other nations.

The OP says that it's the entire history of the Russian military, so we have a lot to talk about.

    Kara, you seem angry. Problem?

Also, agree'd, nobody has ever spoken about anything beyond the 1950's yet.

Not really. I just really don't like Putin. He uses immoral methods for an immoral goal. For instance, a while back the anti-Russian candidate running for office in Ukraine was poisoned and killed.
Then I have broken the thread.

    Yes... Your point being?
Wait, are you suggesting I think Putin went in and personally poisoned a Ukrainian presidential (or PM, idk what the Ukrainian government is exactly) candidate?

No, I'm not suggesting that he did it personally. Although, with his secretive Soviet defense capabilities, it may be.... wink wink, nudge nudge. Nobody could know.

Anyways, I think those little countries of the former Eastern Bloc are cute, with their independancies. Moving on without the warmth of the Russian bear's big furry claws.

Its funny because Putin has killed alot of opposition members in both Russia and the Ukraine, need i remind everyone here of the Assassination of Anna Poltikovskaya and the Poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko.
