Sarcasm. It sucks. I start tommorow and the classes I am going to take are: AP history Algrebra 2 Gym Health Literature Spanish. (SHHH they don't think I know spanish.) AP Government
I thought college/university was way better than high school (the lifestyle at least), I thought you would be pleased to go that early.
If one went to college early, he would still have less time in High School, but he would always spend the same amount of time in college.
Current semester schedule is a POLS 200-level course, Arabic 100, Earthquakes/Natural Disasters (I need a science credit), Arabic and Islamic Studies 100. Last semester I did all the basic gen. ed requirements and an intro POLS course.
My History teacher said Japan was communist in WW2. I died, at first i thought she just miss said it, but turns out she was dead serrious.
I know, i was wondering if i should bring it up to the head of the school but i don't really care if she sucks (she is very biased too when it comes to history) as i get most of the facts from the textbook and the web. She is also our Norwegian teacher, witch is what she is educated for, i have no idea if she is qualified for History.
My teacher told the class that the Mongols were great due to their use of "strategery". I was dumbfounded, and nearly got sent out of class trying to tell her that it wasn't a word.
Did she happen to claim that America didn't lose the vietnam war and that America never supported dictators? cause then im pretty sure that we have the same teacher somehow.
I don't think so, but she was wrong about many smaller things that I have trouble recalling. Like she didn't know a lot about modern events.
I always got Liberal History teachers. They always told the truth wven about the U.S. thats probably why they were sent to a shitty school district
I got stuck with a Conservative History teacher last year. He was an alright guy but he knew shit about World War 2. He got really pissed off because I was correcting him all the time. He dedicated a lot of his time to trying to convince us that the Germans weren't Nazis any more after a retarded girl asked him once. We continued it on for shits and giggles. During the General Election he got angry at the BNP and went on a colossal rant.
My teacher used to go on Rants except they were about republicans and Money. and How we were the Future and we needed to know this shit NAO not later NAO!!
I had an extremely liberal set of history teachers (perhaps better described as anti-American) who filled my class' heads with nothing but defeatism. At KU I've encountered a wide variety of professors, but perhaps most despicable among them is my AAAS prof. She's just evil.
We had a woodwork teacher who was a sad case. He kept on trying to sound cool by talking about his various game consoles, when everybody could see that he was a depressed alcoholic. He just left us to our own devices. I think I made a place to hang cups. I was impressed by it. I kind of lost hope in the teacher when he told us "They call it Xbox 360 because it makes you turn 360 degrees and walk away", and then we all kind of questioned if he really said it or not. Then he sort of decided that it actually wasn't what he meant and started to stutter. Then everybody insulted him for not making sense and he just shut up for a month. Adamant Sonyfags can be annoying.
Hay can someone explain to me the like order the american school system works coz people always talk about like high school and all and I can never figure out what order you do each in. If thats still confusing In N.I. you go to a play school from when you 3 or 4 till your 5 then you go to primary school till your 11 and you do a test and you will eather go to a grammer school if your smart and a secondary school if your retarded. You go there till your 18 then you go to university for however long the course requires. btw Im in lower sixth and doing I.T., Moving Image Arts and Music Technology
