    I should be able to defend myself in that circumstance, but If someone just starts blatantly breaking rules bc they know they're going to be banned, then they should be permabanned with no hesitation.
    For the record, I don't use TWC much. The reason I give a flying fuck is because I like it here. I think there is a great community here.

    We as mods work very hard to keep this forum in nice order and a fun, clean place for you guys. One reason people may enjoy it here is because we keep this forum going in good order. If you love the TWC system so much why don't you use it more?

    Why not, I thought the TWC forums were the dogs bollocks... and all other forums should have the same policy as them.

    @Link
    This is the NKVD forums... and Stalin and the mods work hard to keep it an enjoyable place... people like you and Che trying impliment a revoloution, based on the fact that Noel made a mistake and put someone in a group isn't just petty, but juvenile... and rather selfish.

    I don't like the people on TWC outside of the mafia section. And tbh, I prefer more chaotic sites. Laissez Faire posting.

    And this is never going to be that. You want a chaotic site, you said it yourself. Chaos. We are here to stop this site from turning into chaos.

    Well, this isn't entirely about what I want the site to be. It's about the user base having a say to make elements of the site reflect what they want. My opinion would be thrown in with everyone else's. I'd probably be an outlier, but I'd have a voice, along with the rest of the members.

    Except it is Stalin's will that ultimately shapes the site. Not the regular users.

    You realise we do have a voice, I mean there is an appeal section - the way you make it out to be is that we are all mutes and are being opressed by the evil moderators... which we aren't. - I think some people just want more power on the forums.

    You're right, there is an appeal section. Because our moderator actions are fair. We take your appeals and consider them. This is part of the proof that there is nothing wrong. Almost every appeal has been successful.

    A staff that Stalin trusts, moderating the regular members. Those he trusts enough to make staff decisions and do these things are made mods.

    Jeez, can I not go to sleep anymore? I log off for like 10 hrs and all this jazz happens.

    So what are you actually proposing Link? I believe the people are represented best possible, but if you have hard suggestions we will always consider them. The rules have been changed 3 or 4 times as a result of public sentiment and refinement.

    It's never going to be an open democracy, but between the appeals and the malleable nature of our moderating system, I don't think there is much of a need for major change..

    Well it was noel's moving Ler to the Fantasyland (Che's one, not Kara's) that sparked this thought of corruption and whatnot.

    I think forum democracy has been an underlying issue that would have boiled over anyways, as it wasn't really a big deal what noel did.
