Should Marijuana Be Legalized?

When you drink a beer, do you get a sudden urge to move on to a bigger and better high? The reason marijuana users are far more likely to try other drugs is because of the black market that they HAVE to be sold in. Obviously drug dealers gain nothing by not offering you more dangerous drugs because those are more expensive. By making pot smokers criminals you expose them to everything in the criminal world.

Also I don't know what kind of school you go to buddy because nobody just carries around alcohol at school here in Canada and it's not exactly a hop skip and a jump away from an LCBO either (hey look government controlled drug dispensary working properly) I can get pot within an half an hour at school WITHOUT failure. Also Idk who even brought up cigs but those are easy to get too. I've bought weed in class multiple times LOL student street levels are everywhere .

I support legalizing it. It's less harmful than alcohol or tobacco. I also haven't seen evidence of prohibition ever working. It just encourages more crime and the drug is a gateway only in the sense that it puts you in contact with a criminal lifestyle and that can lead to harder drugs. Another thing is that even though I'm a fascist I don't believe government should control what you put in your body. You can eat belladonna which kills you but you can't smoke a joint?
