I'm referring to the fact that a 15 year old is so enthusiastic about recreational drug use...

I've got to be honest, I have almost never come across anyone who was enthusiastic about drugs. Especially not in school.

Now that's more like it. There's a drinking culture in the UK.

Not doing anything myself anymore, it was stupid of me to even start. Still I am for the leagalization of ganja, as in my opinion i think it could solve allot of problems.

To be honest "Legalise something to lessen the amount of people who go to jail" is quite a stupid argument. It has nothing in it, as it is obvious and applies to everything that is illegal "Make murder legal, less people in jail" for example.

Drinking is part of the west-world culture and in my opinion alochol is not much different than 'other drugs'.

But you could make the argument that recreational drug users are taking up spaces that could be filled by more dangerous criminals, saving money.

Or that people will still do it, legal or not and it being illegal is not helping and being counter productive to the society.

This is true, but I don't think the law should ever budge because somebody wants to save money.

But I do believe it prevents people from doing it. Some people are always gonna keep doing marijuana, but some people are actually moved by the law.

Well look at the neatherlands (holland) they are pretty much runing out of prisoners. Thousands of people get arrested for having weed on them. I think it would be better if weed possesion was legal or atleast not punishable by being thrown in jail. I think it is an over the top punishment to get 3-4 years for more than 40g of weed.

I'm not against the legalisation of cannbis, Holland has shown that it works, and California aswell if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think it's legal in The Netherlands. It was just tolerated in Amsterdam. I think.

Kids don't smoke weed in Britain? Way more teens smoke weed than drink here. Everybody has some all the time. People talk about it openly, and nobody really has a problem with it. Well, nobody that matters anyway. I personally don't drink, alcohol is pretty bad.
