I can confirm that what Shaw is saying is absolute garbage. Only about two or three people were regular drug users at my high school and they were ostracized as 'druggies.' Perhaps people have less willpower on the coasts, or perhaps the acquisition of marijuana is more difficult here, but by no means did "Everybody [have] some all the time."

Nor did, "People talk about it openly..."

I should have specified that I have only gone to one high school, so I can't speak for any other high school.

And we do ostracize druggies. People that do "hard" drugs and/or steroids.

When I went to High School in North Carolina, my experience was more similar to the Shaw's. People weren't particularly secretive about it, and it wasn't hard to acquire either. My guess is that everyone's so busy farming in Kanasas, that they don't have time for any of those "darn tootin mind plants".

No owning drugs should warrant capital punishment

60% for school middle school students
20% for the high school students

Marijuana is nowhere near as addictive or deadly as tobacco or alcohol. When you're drunk you can vomit, blackout, have a hard time talking and walking, and then have a hangover, that is all because alcohol is poisonous. When you are high on Marijuana(I would only recommend that you do marijuana and psilocybin, the least harmful, least addictive, and most awesome "drugs"(but how is a natural plant a drug?)), you feel good about everything, laugh, can generally compose yourself(although the other day I tried a new strain and I couldn't walk across the room without falling on my ass, and then laughed at myself so much I though I was going to die), and there are no unpleasant side effects.

    Um...
'Drug' can be defined as anything that causes a change in the body. Which, yes, under this definition, even a food is to be considered a 'drug'.
No unpleasent side effects... except the loss of motivation, brain cells, and a number of non-fatal-but-sucky event, right?

    But you know what?
    SOCIAL DARWINISM
    That is all.

That's a fairly broad definition. Whatever.
Not really. Only when or after you are/have been high.
Again, no. What happens is that brain cells aren't produced as much, and you can't learn anything while you are high. But to say that someone who doesn't smoke it is necessarily smarter than someone who does is just wrong.
    What? Not really...

Lol potheads don't die off you fuckhead. As a matter of fact, I would venture to say that the majority of people who reproduce have smoked or do smoke cannabis.[/quote]
