Should Marijuana Be Legalized?

Had a discussion about this in my biology class today.There are credited reaons for each side of the argument, e.g marijuana can actually help with some health problems, but can also cause some.Anyways, my personal view is that it should be legalised, as long as our government(England) can control its trade very well, to help take the profits away from those dirty,dirty organised criminals. Also, they should also weaken the type they use ( IF it is legalised) , so it doesnt mess with people too much.Alcohol and tobbaco are both legal, and do cause numbers of deaths and health problems,so why shouldnt cannabis/marijuana/skunk/ganja whatever we want to call it not be?

Personally tough i favor the legalization of marijuana i have to say i never understood the wanting of getting high i like my own realty right here, and im not just saying that because i tried acid and went on a fucking nightmare trip.
