    Well English is kind of the offical language already.Bringing a law restricting the linguistic liberties of a citizen is not going to make anything better only getting minorities and immigrants angry,and it will make the US as ignorant to minor languages as Slovakia.

    Hmm, no. America is immigrant central. We owe all our prosperity to peoples of other nations that helped build our nation. Today we are still a diverse people. I love America's diversity. I am proud to say we speak so many languages. We are made of so many people, not just the English.

    Think about it like this.

    America is a boiling pot of all countries. There are atleast ten-thousand people here from every country ( except Abanyissa ) and English is the offical language of just England. Also the only reason we speak english because of the English settlements. If those were Dutch or French Settlements then people would argue that the offical language of America would be French or Dutch.
