Too late. By the time I posted the second post I was already all the way. How should I have known? I've never had to deal with it before. Btw: I'm probably going to restart anyways. My brother is coming back from college for a while and I want to see how long it will take him to catch up. A silver lining to every cloud, as you Americans say, I guess.
But are a pain when you are trying to lvl up any of your skills like alchemy and smithing since everyone attacks you and do not trade with you. Too late either way. I restarted with the intention of keeping a save of the vampire game but accidently saved over it with my new one.
If you feed then your powers recede for a period of time and you can walk around as normal. Just don't get into fights during the day.
Yeah see, that is a problem. I kind of LIKE fighting during the day since I can actually SEE my enemies. And feeding is a bother. Btw: If you feed on enough people, do they become vampires themselves?
Well, you can fight them, the only problem is that your health and stamina don't regenerate in direct sunlight. Just make sure you have healing and stamina potions. It's not so bad, just find a house outside the cities (such as a stable) and wait until nightfall/early morning. If you fast travel, make sure you're in the sneak position. Just break in and select a sleeping victim. No.
Getting to an alchemy station is a pain. I just don't understand why Bethesda changed it from on the go to stationary. *sigh* Theres probably a mod to change it... Just me. I only get time to play sparcely so I need to be able to continue a quest once I get ingame immediately, not spend time sucking someone's blood.
I will detail to you what I did, the second time, which wasn't charging head first. Okay, so I snuck up on the guy with the battleaxe on top of the rock, and I summoned one of those things from Sanguine's rose (they're really powerful), and began slashing at the guy, with two Epic Scimitar's, and killed him. I tried to run down the mountain before the thing I summoned died, but they blasted through him like he was nothing and began shooting giant ass ice shards at me, which took only three hits, because he had aim bot. But eventually, I whacked the guy who threw those friggin' annoying things and shot arrows like hell at the most powerful melee and held the rest back with Flame Atronach's.
Hmm... I usually kill dragoons using a bow (lev 42 archery) and with my ebony bow and a shout or two (try using Marked for death) it usually only takes me 5-8 hits. Sucks I wasn't on this weekend. I went through this last week (see my status updates) and it's annoying, but there's one area (for greymoor) you can go to and get an easy vampire feeding in to reset your vampire level, enabling you to start that quest.
Bows are incredibly handy in assassination missions, as they are silent and ranged, unlike magic or swords. Just apply a good poison on it and you can do well over 100 damage (enough to kill pretty much anyone that needs assassinating) from a single shot, even at a crappy archery/sneak level by virtue of the critical hit.
Speaking of arrows, I just contracted Rockjoint after defeating a bunch of archers. Must've taken one in the knee....
I need some good recipes for poisons. Also, I need cash, plenty of cash to buy a house. Do the Thieves Guild quests end up making your character rich?
I now have a full set of Legendary Dragonplate armour... H0-ly shit! Level 100 enchanting skill, here I come.
