Yeah, I'm wondering, do the ore deposits regenerate? I just re-visited the mine near riverwood, the first one I went to and they're still not back, lots'a bandits whacking the rocks with pickaxes but no ore.
Hey guys i was wondering if i should by skyrim now, after buying new ski boots i am kinda short on money but i have managed to save up 600kr witch is a bit more than 100 usd witch is how much the game costs in Norway. I could probaly wait for christmas when i might get it. However the games looks awesome but is it worth 100usd? I am buying this for the ps3.
Here's the deal, I have it on PS3 and Skyrim has a game breaking lag problem later on. The more you play and do, the worse it gets until you can't play. However they just released a patch which isn't out in the US yet that is supposed to fix this and from posts on the forum it does so far. That aside it is by far the funnest game I have ever played.
SUURRRREEEE. He asks and gets a responce. But I ask twice and get nothing. LOL. And I'll be seriously pissed if the mines do not regenerate.
so whens that patch gonna be opperational. I tried to google it but it said a patch was allready out.
I don't see how a vein would replenish. Usually Bethesda is logical about these things and what sense would it make to have more ores magically appear in a mined out vein deep in a cave.
Yeah, the first time I went to that mine was weeks ago (game time) I had gone to the mine literally on thursday, and it hadn't regenerated yet, and may I tell you, I have a lot of free time, so I've played atleast 30 hours so far, in that time I've been skipping across the entire map mostly by quick travel, time speeds more rapidly while using quick travel and I think the farther the distance from present location to desired location the further the time goes.
Um... because of all the magic in the game? And if it didn't then the game is seriously in need of help. There is NO REASON for Bethesda to spend HOURS making unique mines only to make them one-time trips. And the ore deposits are not significant enough for one visit to be worth while. Logically, they should make them replenishable.
Sometimes when you go back to those mines, bandits will occupy them, and will have some ore and ingots lying around, but not enough for it to be worthwhilte, maybe one or two iron ores and a steel ingot in an iron mine, that's largely insufficient, and the money obtained by the items that the bandits have is also not worthwhile.
Is that the answer to my question, or are you just pointing that out? Do you actually know if the ore deposits regenerate? And the wheat fields apparently don't regenerate either... do they? They haven't so far for me.
Nope, no answers, however I just tried to provide some information regarding to the net worth of each 'cleared' mine. Even though a location is labelled as 'cleared' it can still be inhabited.
