Oh, I'm not saying the mainstream anti-smoking guys are any better. The majority of their rhetoric aims at persecuting, and attacking smokers, spouting bullshit 'Facts'. and generally just being a bunch of stuck up liberal douche bags.
lets face it, communism sucks because everyone earns exactly the same. So, because everyone earns the same, there is no innovation because people don't want to work for the same amount of money; They want to move up in society and be rich, prosperous etc. That is a common view, please provide some points against it, I have a thirst for knowledge and I want to see how communists answer this.
All right 9000km then. But still that doesn't change the fact that I don't want them near me. This is because of my own health.
Actually, in socialism, everybody doesn't 'Earn the same'. You can still earn more than other people, for instance, a brain surgeon would earn significantly more than a janitor - That being said, you wouldn't get people who earn insanely large salaries for doing nothing, and people who earn next to nothing for doing long, hard, and stressful work. Wages wouldn't be 'Equal' as much as they would be 'Equalized'. The whole profit motive argument is based on extremely outdated, even primitive understanding of human psychology and society - In fact, the profit motive physically hinders technological, and scientific progress, at a massive level. In capitalism, you can't just make some big invention, or some big scientific discovery. Even if you have the physically, and intellectual capabilities to do so, it would require - A: A high enough level education to be able to do it. B: The countless hours needed to process, and put to reality said innovation, and C: The physical money and contacts needed to get it off the ground. Regarding point a - In capitalism, very few people get to attend university - Only a small portion of people in most countries will ever get the opportunity, and the Overwhelming majority of them are wealthy, in most countries, there are next to no people within the working class who will ever, by any means get the opportunity t to attend. B: In capitalism, you are forced to work long, hard hours for very little wage - Combined with the fact that most working class people lack any formal education, that they have to look after family, their mental health, etc, realistically, it physically leaves no time for the average working person to make said innovation. And C - The idea that 'Anybody can become wealthy' is an extremely outdated, and dishonest rhetoric. Yes, you technically stand a chance at becoming wealthy in your life. But that chance is extremely, obscenely low. Ask any young adult or teenager if they think they will be rich when they are older, and I can guarantee you that the majority will say yes. To say that even 1% of them will ever reach any high level of wealth is an exaggeration, as most of those within the top 1% of wealth are physically born into it. The figure of working/middle class people who ever reach wealth would likely be lower than 0.1%. Look at how many universities and corporations there are, each with their own scientific teams - All of these teams are constantly forced to compete against each other for profits. Imagine if all of those groups combined their resources, and shared their data - We would be advancing, technologically and scientifically at a much larger rate. In our current system though, even when scientific discoveries are made, to simply use them to their full potential, corporations are forced to put massive price tags on them, and even withhold them for years so they don't get in the way of progress. So yar, those are pretty much our views on the subject.
Ignore Ler, he is a fan of genocide, patriarchy, authoritarianism, rape, smoking, sunlight, and cancelled prescriptions. He hates Jews, black people, and Americans, and thinks the DPRK is God's gift (well not really, because he hates religion and theists as well) to the earth.
It strikes me as the ultimate irony that a downright terrible, malformed and disturbing human being such as yourself would accuse me of being a bad person.
I can confirm that all these things are true. I talk to Kali essentially on a daily basis, and he is a terrible person. The reason I keep coming back is because I am also completely evil and despicable along with all my capitalist friends.
If the people here, yourself included, weren't looking for attention, they wouldn't be making posts. That said, I understand that you are unable to stomach the idea of me making a joke without making some response criticizing it for some absurd reason.
The thread about an addictive poisonous drug have been derailed into capitalism vs socialism, why am I not surprised?
im in contact with dangerous substances all the time that are much more dangerous than second hand smoke. i was in a welding shop some time ago, and i think it was ironic that the welders had to go outside to smoke.
