I think Quebec should also sue junk food companies for assisting in the rise of obesity. The next time you see a man eating a doughnut it is your patriotic duty to swat that artery clogging mess out of his hand and tell him that he is putting an unwanted strain on the healthcare system.
They could if they really wanted to. The only difference is that with the the lawsuit of the tobacco companies you can prove that those costs were directly related to health affects from cigarettes.
You can with junk food too. An obese person is at greater risk of heart attack, diabetes, strokes and a slew of other ailments. The CDC put the cost of obesity in America at about 147 billion in 2008. Although suing Little Debbie might seem more ridiculous it's not that big of a step.
I personally love it when obese people will tell someone who is smoking its bad for there health, while eating a bunch of McDonalds or something like that.
Some people start because they have to stay awake. Ex. When going to law school you have to take a 72 hour test (With a 1 hour break every 3 hours).
Anybody who complains about smoking is a prissy bitch, I'll do what I want. Anyway, my philosophy on the matter is that if you stop buzzing off of tobacco, then you should probably stop.
Have you ever stayed up for a few days? Caffeine is a double edged sword, once you are seriously fatigued the caffeine crash can take you down hard. Lots of carbohydrates are the best way to keep yourself sane when you've been up for 2 or 3 days.
This post made no sense what so ever in reply to my post. Here i was commenting on how no sane person keeps himself or herself up for 2-3. Your reply calming "I can" is irrelevant as i was not questioning your ability to stay awake for 2-3 days.
I've been up for a weekend from time to time. It's fine as long as I get around 14 hours of sleep after that.
