Don't talk about the false football.
The real football has just too much money rolling on the big clubs, like Messi has just an absurd contract.

Yeah, they did contract a 7-year old. I think either them or some Argentinian club also contracted the unborn grandchild of Maradona or something. You know, to give him more money for his drugs.

Who are these Pele and Maradona characters? The best footballer ever was clearly Archie Gemmell... :p

Oh 60 million, yeah that's absurd, not even A-Rod gets that much payment from the Yankees.

Also, the Premier League's first round was today, did someone watch Arsenal's game?

I did, actually. Barton really should've been sent of for being a hypocrite. First grabbing Gervinho (who didn't really play well, I must say) because he dived, and then fall to the ground like he was shot in the leg when he gets touched. Absolutely disgusting. Of course, Song shouldn't have been able to finish the game, and Gervinho was sent off as well, but that Barton is such an ass.

Still, I'm pretty happy, because my favourite team in the Netherlands is first again. Now let's see for how long...

Yeah, I did see the strugle on the TV, it's like in the 2010 World Cup,in the game that Cameroon went against Brazil, Kaka just moved his shoulder in the chest of a cameronese(?) and said player put his hands in the head like he took a headshot from something else, needless to say Kaka got the red card.

By the way, I've noticed the keepers in the Netherlands not being half bad. Of course, there's Stekelenburg, who's now playing for AS Roma, and then you have Vorm, who from what I've seen played very well against Man. City yesterday (he had some bad luck with the first goal, though), and in the Netherlands themselves, there are several talented keepers, like Cillessen, Tyton and a few others.

Oh, by the way, about the brilliant passing from Barcelona. Look up "Bryan Ruiz" and "Eriksen". I don't know his first name, but he's playing for Ajax. But back to the point. They can give absolutely perfect passes, and don't actually need 50 tries before it actually works. Just a heads up.

Not really. I'm not very interested in international games, but really, the Dutch team does seem to play rough whenever they get agitated (vs Portugal at Euro 2004, I think). And that agitation mostly comes from diving. So that's really why there are incidents with Spain and Portugal. Oh, and Germany sometimes as well.

Are you really going to make an argument that these two guys who play for a team that struggles to make the CL put together a better passing game then Xavi and Inesta who have won the CL twice, won the WC once, and won numerous domestic trophies despite facing the best competition and players in the world? I despise barca, but they when they're on their game they really play perfect footy....

Side note, did anyone get a chance to watch leg one of the supercopa? From what I've read Real played a more Barca style and could have easily gone up
