Just like how you memorized exactly how the entire Economy collapsed thirty years ago, just before you do it again? (this is a reference) I don't think so. To be serious, there will be too much division of ideals, and since there is a Two-Party system, there will be a lot of shape shifting in Congress. Nothing will change, for the better, anyways.
To be serious, the two parties arent really that different. And they all want pretty much the same thing, they just have slightly different ways of going about it. Cmon, its not like one party is socialist and the other is fascist! One is simply social liberal and the other is social conservative.
It's like having a quarter with one side having a head facing to the right, the other to the left. but all in all they still have heads and are on quarters.
This is scary. If we are 5th, God help the rest of you. http://app.e2ma.net/app2/campaigns/archived/42578/bf838b4f7c7a4c1ab6a490ca863dfe66/
'Rise', oh that is funny. You see, what has happend is, the rest have fallen, but Arkansas, not so much. The hard work he speaks of is like Operation Barbarossa, they're working hard to not completely break down and lose everything. Not so sure about 'academic excellence', perhaps it would rather be 'adequate excellence'. And the help he's talking about is alleviating bad habits related to their social life, like smoking and acting stupid.
Best line from a sub. teacher ever, happened a few days ago. Me: "South America's ample amounts of water give countries there the ability to harness hydroeletric power." Sub." No no, I think you meant their Uranium provides them with alot of power." Me: ಠ_ಠ
Not sure where the hell that Substitute got that from, but it sure as hell sounds like regular stinky old teenagers on videogame chatrooms and Xbox LIVE.
I'm not BS'ing here at all, she really said that. (BTW, that sub. is nicknamed "the horselady"... she really likes to talk about horses)
So today we started Civil Rights Movement. She actually painted Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus as a hero for speaking out against the presence of the 101 airborne at Central High in Little Rock. Just in case you don't know him he decided to not to let the Little Rock Nine go to Central High. He was only stopped by President Eisenhower himself.
I think all of the IB kids are mad that they're not as cool as AP students. I also wanted to give a test. Here's an AP question from my Euro test (this I can give out): "Who and what were the causes of unrest in the Wiemar Republic?" You cannot use the internet, and have 45 minutes to type an answer. Go. (also, you get to type, so feel lucky.) Edit: This is also an insanely easy question, I almost cried when I got it on the test.
Well it's been two years so my memory is a little fuzzy; but our teacher hyped us all so much we were ready to explode. The test itself was adequately difficult but then came the essay question. To tired to remember what it was about, but it was basically a carbon copy of an essay question that we had done a couple weeks earlier, for the 5th time. As you can imagine completing an essay that you've basically already done 5 times isn't exactly hard. I'll try and find the actual question tomorrow.
