I have to say that I think your thought is very plausible. However, between the Trooper and Jedi Knight class, I know probably an equal number of people who want to play each. I'll be eager to try alternate characters as the Trooper and Smuggler classes, particularly to run through their storylines, since every class' plot arc will be completely unique.

However, I do have this feeling that the Sith Empire side of things will be more balanced. The Bounty Hunter gets to interact with the Mandalorians, and I know the Mando's have a fan culture that could be compared to what Klingons are to many Star Trek fans (complete language, culture, etc.).

I'm looking forward to this one. I played SW:Galaxies before Sony ruined it and was always surprised that a Star Wars themed MMORPG didn't do better. Obviously it's gameplay and game mechanics that determine success but having one of the most popular franchises as your playground should be a slam dunk. I don't really know what class I'll play yet but I'm an Empire fan. So at least I know what faction I'll play.

And the monthly subscription haters must not have 360s either. You pay monthly for that privilege also. I'm more than willing to pay a few bucks a month for constantly updated and improved content. And the ability to game with my friends around the world is worth a few bucks also. Yes, there are free MMOs out there but you inevitably get what you pay for.
