Well CBC is a very good example of how state media should be run. La Presse also has ties to the government I believe.
Unlike popular belief, state did not interviene with my work at all. All they did was provide funding for it. So I guess it's not state run, but state owned media.
State owned makes alot more sense and heck as long as the state doesn't interviene in the media making I have nothing against them having funding for one, although its better to have more privatize media in my opinion.
As long as free speech is protected and independent news sources aren't outlawed or restricted, I suppose it can be okay.
