States with High Taxes vs. States with Low Taxes

You're blaming the government, not the education system. I'm stating the fact that the education is created and maintained by the government, so blaming the government is also blaming the education system.

Just because the government is corrupt, does not mean the education system automatically fails. I am saying, the education system stayed fine through all of this despite the government corruption.

1)After Berlusconi's budget cuts our schoolastic sistem got a lot worse ,im not saying its bad but im saying that 20 years ago it was a lot better and its funny how (with the money he cut from the school sistem) berlusconi tried to built nuclear power plants(in a country were earthquakes are daily and dangerous problems) with a referendum which italians rejected! ( in 2011)!
2) @slydessertfox is absolutely right! after middleschool, the Italians can choose from several types of highschools such as:
-Classic high school,
where you study Latin and Ancient Greek as major subjects.
-Scientific high school,
where you study math, physics, biology.
-Artistic high school,
where you study art but mostly you learn how to draw things.
-Linguistic high school,
where you study several languages , from english to russian.
The main difference between Italy and the US is that our high school last five years.
After that, your next step is to choose if you want to go to university or try to find a job.
